In the initial two years, students build a strong foundation by studying core subjects such as History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and English. They further enrich their understanding by earning nine credits from a diverse array of social science seminars, led by distinguished full-time and visiting faculty. All law courses mandated by the Bar Council of India are compulsory, ensuring that students acquire essential legal knowledge and skills. Demonstrating its commitment to contemporary and holistic legal education, the university has also made 'Law and Poverty' and 'Law of Intellectual Property' mandatory courses. This integrated program is designed to foster not only deep expertise in law, but also the broad perspective needed to address complex societal issues.
