IIT Madras offers a five-year Dual Degree B.Tech + MBA program, which enables students to pursue both a B.Tech. and an MBA simultaneously. At IIT Delhi, students pursue an MBA after working for approximately 2-3 years in the industry. This now provides B.Tech graduates with a preferential option to compress the two into a five-year stint at the campus itself from the third academic year onwards and earn both degrees as part of our integrated package programme (IDEP). Topics covered by the curriculum include fundamentals in management (finance, marketing, operations and strategy) as well as electives that emphasise emerging technologies such as AI and digital marketing. Graduates will obtain Two Degrees (B.Tech and MBA) and be equipped to take on leadership roles in technology-enabled industries, enterprises/start-ups. The program focuses on internships, industry projects and leadership-development components that aim to cultivate the next generation of technopreneurs and innovation leaders.
