Highlights It is a post graduate full time 2 year programme spreading over 4 semesters which aims to provide the student with specialised skill sets in different fields like Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell biology, Immunology, Genetics, Molecular biology, Cell culture techniques (Animal and Plant tissue culture), Genetic engineering, Analytical techniques, Fermentation, Environmental biotechnology, Agricultural biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Intellectual property. The programme is designed in a way to enable the student to know about the latest technologies in order to be oriented towards biotechnological research and industry The programme has been designed to offer eligible candidates specialization in a wide range of practical skills, while at the same time build competence in many areas of biotechnology. Entire fourth semester is dedicated to a research project in a reputed research organization and industry to ensure that the student is able to understand the finer points of research and development of processes.
