B.Voc. in Garment Designing
Started in 2014 under UGC’s skill development program, the B.Voc. Under NSQF, Garment Design and Garment Technology has been framed on two levels that will help the students to increase their skill levels which could be useful in tune with Industry expectations. This is a flexibly and innovatively structured course that meets the skills demand of the garment industry. It provides a good foundation for a variety of careers like designers and merchandisers in the garment production industry as well as helping students develop their entrepreneurial skills. Upon graduation, a student in this major can not only be employed but also open his/her own garment company or fashion store.
